Skills: Hardware, Networking, Virtualization, Docker
  • My HomeLab consists of my ever-growing collection of servers, networking gear, and applications. I self host dozens of open-source applications on (admittedly old) enterprise-grade servers in order keep control over my personal data and improve privacy.
  • I use Proxmox as a hypervisor to manage my VMs, and most of my apps are run and managed using Docker. Custom automations are made with Python or .NET Core whenever I need something scripted or source controlled.
  • My current hardware stack consists of a Dell R620 and R520, where the former acts as compute and the latter my storage and media server. On the networking side I run pfSense as my firewall and Ubiquiti networking gear for everything after.
